Puppy training can be a real challenge.
Your new puppy is cute as a button. So, of course you’ll be excited for this new, adorable addition to the family.
However, it’s important to start by building an understanding of your dog, gaining confidence, trust, and a long-lasting bond so you can hit the ground running with your training. We’re here to help you gain the right knowledge of their character, breed, and genetics early on in their development.
From here, we’ll help you to set realistic goals and expectations for each stage of their growth into adolescence, giving you the tools and knowledge to keep problem behaviours at bay.
That means you’ll be setting yourself and your puppy up for success straight away, helping them to look up to you for guidance in their new surroundings.
Suitable for puppies from 8 weeks old up to 5 months, Lucy’s 1-2-1 puppy training programmes can guide you through preparation for pup’s arrival, and the first few months of development in your home. Whether it’s support with crate training, toilet training or important life skills such as recall, we can put together a programme that is unique to you, your lifestyle, and your puppy.

How we work
In essence, just think of us as your expert dog training partner, not just for puppyhood, but throughout your dog’s life. Together we’ll take look at your puppy’s environment, breed, and behaviours and ensure we give appropriate guidance to start you off on the right foot (or paw!).
Puppies can be challenging at times, so it’s important to remember to have patience. Age, breed, and genetics will all play a key role in your puppy’s behaviour and, just like us humans, dogs are not infallible, they need consistent, continuous guidance. Effective training requires commitment, patience, and practice on your part if we’re to build good habits and desirable behaviours for life.

We’ll set you up for success with our New Puppy e-book Guide, covering everything you need to know from exercise, puppy play and biting, to tips for recommend toys, chews, and equipment, and much more. You’ll also receive our Puppy Starter Kit including – treat pouch, treats and a little something to keep your puppy entertained.
With regular check-ins between sessions, we’re here to help you stay on track with your training. Plus, with access to online resources, and ongoing communication with Lucy, you’ll have a dedicated partner to work alongside you, giving you the tools and the knowledge to build a long-lasting, trusting bond between you and your new companion.
Ongoing support with your training
We’ll make some great progress with your puppy during our first few sessions, but it’s important to remember, your training shouldn’t stop once your regular sessions come to an end.
Our follow-on support subscription costs just £40 per month and allows you to continue receiving guidance and support on an ongoing basis.
With adolescence just around the corner, you’ll want to make sure you have support on hand to guide you and your dog through their development.
Investing in our monthly subscription programme means we will be on hand for future hiccups or emerging behaviours you want to work on.
With monthly 1-2-1 30-minute zoom calls, fortnightly email check-ins and access to support via WhatsApp too, you won’t need to worry about feeling lost again with your training plans.
